Nightingale College’s BSN Program Receives 10-Year Accreditation from Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)

BSN program accreditation renewed through June 2032

SALT LAKE CITY–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nightingale College announced today it has received accreditation grant renewal for its baccalaureate degree program in nursing from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Following a recent site visit and peer review, CCNE renewed the BSN program’s accreditation for a period of 10 years, through June 30, 2032, the maximum term allowed under the CCNE policy.

The CCNE Board of Commissioners noted in its accreditation grant communication that the college’s BSN program met all four accreditation standards and key elements for accreditation. The commission’s action also provides a strong external validation for the Nightingale College’s innovative prelicensure nursing education delivery model.

Nightingale College offers several pathways for entry into and continued progression within the nursing profession: a practical/vocational nursing (PN) diploma program, a generic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, bridge programs for LPN-to-ASN and RN-to-BSN learners, and the Education (MSN Ed) and Family Nurse Practitioner tracks (MSN FNP) in its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program. Nightingale College currently serves more than 2,700 learners in 41 U.S. states and achieved a 4.24/5.0 learner satisfaction score1 for its Spring 2022 semester.

Since its inception in 2010, the college has graduated more than 1,400 learners from its educational programs and attained an 80%+ graduation rate2 in 2021. Nightingale College focuses on improving health outcomes by providing nursing education to underserved and underrepresented communities.
